Over the years
the number of
fire calls we have responded to continues to increase.
Unfortunately, records are not available for many of the early
years. However, the graph below shows the growing number of
yearly fire calls over the last 50 years.

In addition to
the growing call volume, there
were
added peaks in 1994 and 1999. In January 1994 severe ice
storms
resulted in an unusual number of calls. Similarly, in
September
1999 we were quite busy as Hurricane Floyd impacted Southeastern
Pennsylvania.
