In 2011 Centre Square Fire Company, Whitpain Police Department, and Vol. Medical Services Corp. of Lansdale, all participated in Community Service Fighting Cancer’s Inception year!

What a year it was… C.S.F.C. started when the fire company set forth to wrap one of the apparatus in “Pink” to raise awareness of ALL cancers. The fire company dedicated their truck in memory two children, who recently lost their battle with pediatric cancer. Engine 33, 46-14 & 345-3 all took on their new appearances and remained in service, in the hopes our emergency response vehicles would bring our community together to raise awareness & fight cancer. These vehicles are a symbol of hope for those fighting cancer, a symbol of strength for those who have conquered the disease and a symbol of remembrance for those whom have lost their battle. There are way too many stories to tell but we have already helped many families across Montgomery County. For all those who chose to become actively involved, it is a life changing experience. These three community service groups have learned firsthand we need to fight more than just fires on the home front but also to fight & extinguish the fires which burn inside the bodies of those affected with cancer and the families who support them.

We can’t fight cancer alone. Community Service Fighting Cancer needs your help so we can win this battle and grow for years to come. You don’t have to wrap your vehicle to become part of C.S.F.C. Contact Rich Moser, President of Community Service Fighting Cancer, and he can explain the many ways you can help spread awareness to your local residents & help support C.S.F.C’s efforts to raise cancer awareness and help residents in Montgomery County. We are asking other community service groups to sponsor or host a fundraiser to benefit CSFC if you are able; we are turning to you to get involved.

If you choose to join the fight with us we will also solicit for information from your communities to learn about other residents across Montgomery County who may need our help. What a way to make a statement in support of a great cause. All your contributions will be used to help families fighting this horrible disease LOCALLY and to also help keep our organization operating this campaign for many years to come.

Let’s all team up to make a difference!
