Vehicle Rescue
Skippack Pike & North Wales Road, Worcester
At 0944 hours on Sunday, 22 February, the CSFC was dispatched for a vehicle rescue at the intersection of Skippack Pike (Rt. 73) and North Wales Road. Deputy 33 arrived and reported that the accident was actually on Skippack Pike west of North Wales Road, in Worcester Township. The Worcester Volunteer Fire Company (station 83) was then dispatched as well. The accident was a 3 vehicle accident, and patients were trapped in two of them. FD units performed extrication on those two vehicles, and one of the victims was transported via Penn Star helicopter while the other was transported via ground transport by Plymouth Ambulance (308)
