CSFC Celebrates 31 Cent Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins

On Wednesday, April 28th, the Centre Square Fire Company gathered at Baskin Robbins on Butler pike to celebrate their annual 31 cent scoop night. This night is celebrated nationwide, and is to honor to America's firefighters. This year Baskin Robbins donated $100,000 to the National Fallen Firefighters Association.  The night was a great success, with a total of 1347 scoops sold. CSFC handed out balloons, hats, and gave truck tours to the children, as well as the adults! CSFC would like to thank everyone who attended and supported their local firefighters.

CSFC welcomes home two local heroes!

On January 6, 2010 CSFC joined in welcoming home two local heroes, Army MP Spec. Erica Walsh and her cousin SGT. Michael C Weinstein. This welcoming was special because Erica did not know that she would be greeted by her cousin Michael, who was returning from Iraq. He surprised her at the baggage terminal and from there they were escorted all the way home. CSFC crews along with Whitpain Police joined the escort through Whitpain to Spec. Walsh's home, were they were met by nearly 100 welcoming people. Tower 33 proudly displayed the American Flag over the entrance to the neighborhood. CSFC would like to thank everyone who attended, and would like to once again welcome home two of our local heroes.
