CSFC Pubic Relations Activities

Throughout the year, we perform all sorts of public relations services.  The biggest is our annual Fire Prevention Expo, held every year on the Friday evening immediately preceding Fire Prevention Week (Fire Prevention Week is the week that includes October 8th - the anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire.)

We also go to various schools to help teach Fire Prevention throughout the year.

In addition to our Expo, we participate in township events like the annual Fall Harvest Festival.

In mid-December, you'll find us some Saturday ushering Santa Claus through the township as he prepares for the big night.

We also provide fire trucks for parties.  Several times throughout the year we will send a fire truck to a block party or a birthday party in the township.  Occasionally a birthday party or a group will come to the firehouse for a visit.  If you would be interested in having us show up, give us a call at 610 272-4686 or stop by the main station some Monday night from 7 PM - 9 PM.

After A Fire

If you unfortunately have a fire in your home or your building, we will do our best to safely help you and protect your belongings and your home.  We will discuss our operations with you and help you on the road to recovery.

As part of the recovery process, the United States Fire Administration (USFA)  has published a helpful guide called "After The Fire".  You can get a copy of it here.
