Vehicle rescue + fire

The CSFC was
dispatched, along with Towamencin Fire Company, for a vehicle fire in
the southbound lanes. While units were en route to that fire, a
major accident occurred in the area just past the initial fire.
Several vehicles were involved. People were trapped in their
vehicles and the pile-up was on fire. Through the rapid actions
of the responding firefighters, several people were saved. The
road was shut down for many hours as numerous additional fire
departments were called and everyone worked to try to extricate the
last victim.
