Building fire
78 Norristown Road, Blue Bell

The CSFC was dispatched, along with Wissahickon Fire Company (7) at 2139 hours Tuesday 25 January 2005 to a reported roof fire of a house under construction in the area of Norristown Road and Butler Pike. 

Police confirmed the building fully involved, and DC33 reported a header a mile away.  Norriton Fire Engine Company (61) was dispatched as the FAST unit.


Units focused initial efforts on protecting the exposure on side B, which was an occupied home.  Once units were assigned to that other units began extinguihment of the house under construction.
Units remained on scene a few hours performing overhaul and cooling down remaianing hot spots.

Also assisting were Upper Gwynedd Fire Company (80) and Fort Washington Fire Company (88) who provided standby services in 33's quarters for the duration.
