On May 28, 2021 at 8:42 pm Station 33 was dispatched for a vehicle fire on the 1000 block of Walton Road. Chief 33 arrived to report an SUV fully involved. Squad 33 arrived with crew extinguishing using 750 gallons of water and foam. Fire Police were on scene closing Walton Rd. There were no injuries.
Elmwood Park Zoo Thanks First Responders

The Elmwood Park Zoo recently recognized first responders from the Whitpain Township Police Department, Centre Square Fire Company, and Second Alarmer's Rescue Squad with free First Responders memberships.
These memberships were created by the zoo as a way of thanking first responders from various Montgomery County police, fire and EMS departments.

Normandy Farms Carriage House
March 4, 2021
At 8:07pm on Thursday, March 4th, Centre Square Fire Company was dispatched to the Normandy Farms Carriage House for an automatic fire alarm. Approximately 5 minutes later, Whitpain Township Police Department and Centre Square Fire Units arrived to find heavy smoke and flames from the roof of the two story structure. The response was immediately upgraded to a commercial building fire, bringing apparatus and manpower from Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Department, North Penn Fire Company, and Norriton Fire Engine Company. Crews worked swiftly to ensure that all occupants were out of the building while engaging in an aggressive fire attack. The fire was placed under control at 9:25pm with no injuries to the public or responders.
The Normandy Farms Carriage House is a popular overnight venue for wedding parties, as it contains 9 suites. One of Thursday night's guests included a wedding party set to wed this evening (Friday March 5th). Fortunately, firefighters were able to quickly remove the bride's dress and all of the wedding party's luggage, allowing their wedding to continue without a hitch.
Also providing assistance were Wissahickon Fire Company, Worcester Fire Company, Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, Plymouth Ambulance. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Whitpain Township Fire Marshal's Office. Our sincere thanks to all the agencies involved and our warmest congratulations to the bride and groom!
